A little something from Lake Powell

One of the nights we were out boating the sky was absolutley breath taking. This has to be one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. Honestly, I played with it very little. The colors were so rich and vibrant. I had to share!!

A night of learning!

Oh... I have so much to learn. It's almost overwhelming at times. I take EVERY opportunity I get to learn and grow when I can. My friend and I who also does photography when out on a practice shoot the other night. We had a great time and I think we each discovered something new. Here are some of my favorites.

These are my very own boys minus the youngest. He seriously didn't want anything to do with the camera this weekend. Aren't they handsome? I just love em' to pieces!

Mentor Session

So I'm still pretty new at this whole photography thing but LOVING every minute of it. One of my very good friends is my photography idol. She has done some of the most amazing work. She truly is an artist. I was lucky enough the other night to mentor with her and another friend who is also very talented. We spent the evening learning and sharing new ideas. We shot until dark and my camera literally stopped working. I learned so much from these two girls and appreciate their willingness to show me what they know. Here are some of the pictures I took. Ahh... the BEAUTY of flowers

My sweet friend gave me these beautiful flowers yesterday. I absolutley LOVE the color and everything about them. I'm sure she has no idea, but the Gerbera daisy is my favorite flower. They are so bright and beautiful, I had to take some pictures. There where too many to pick from so I posted my two favorites. I saved mine as my desktop background and love the cheerfulness of it. Feel free to do the same if you'd like. I'm pretty sure it will work, let me know if not. It may look a little pixely becuase I reduced the image size for quicker upload.

Beautiful Bountiful Temple

I couldn't help but to capture the beautiful radiance of the Bountiful Temple tonight. The combination of the fog and temple lights was unbelievable beautiful! It was really cold so I was only able to get a few shots.
